Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

My client is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for our growing inpatient practice in Rockingham, NC. This opportunity allows the provider to be a part of a progressive and tenured Hospitalist program and offers a variety of affordable living options within a 30 minute drive.
NPP will routinely be scheduled 7-on/7-off day shifts (7A to 7P), but scheduling may change as needed to meet departmental and patient care needs.
Extra shift opportunities are available based on credentialing and interest.
The average daily census ( 18) is shared with the physician.
Daily meals are covered by the Hospital.
Qualifications
Seeking a NP or PA candidate who has a minimum of 1 year experience in Hospitalist Medicine.
Ability to work effectively with teams in a busy practice environment.
Critical Care skills and ability to do procedures is essential
Clean background; must be licensed or eligible for licensure in NC.
Appreciates and thrives in a rural environment.
Knowledge of coding standards and basic financial processes including strategies for decreasing costs per case, improve case mix index, impact of core measures and readmissions on financial results.
Knowledge of core measures and performance improvement strategies to drive improvement.
Proficient with computers, dictation systems and portable devices.
Compensation and Benefits
Base Salary of $110,000 based on 180 shifts per year.
12 days of PTO per year that can be sold back to the organization at a rate of $600/shift if unused.
Pay-for-Performance Bonus opportunity of up to 15% in accordance with the facility's Hospitalist NPP P4P plan.
Up to $1,250 reimbursement for CME and other professional expenses per fiscal year.
Relocation reimbursement up to $10,000.
