Duties may include auditing, counting, recording, verifying information and scanning packages to assist in Hub Operations. May operate control panel or belt diverters to maintain proper package distribution. Duties also may include typing, data entry, distributing mail, filing and answering phones.

Job Duties and Responsibilities Major duties include monitoring and controlling the flow of packages throughout the Hub facility. This is accomplished through communication with area supervisors and the stopping and starting of conveyor system. This is a warehouse environment. Cold in the winter time (bay doors are open even working on the docks) and hot in the summer time. Can be dusty due to the packaging that is processed through the facility. Knowledge and Skills: Specialized knowledge and skills include learning the operation of the motor control board. Also the use of various communication tools utilized by the Hub personel to communicate to motor control. Individual makes rapid decisions on daily matters within authority limits prescribed by supervisor. Work involves performance of routine and non-routine tasks, new or unusual problems are referred to a supervisor. Clear communication with area supervisors vital. Safety of employees depends on solid listening skills. Interaction with many supervisors daily.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
