Program Supervisor

Lutheran Social Services of WI & Upper MI is currently seeking a Community Supported Living Coordinator to coordinate and implement the supported living services for individual clients, including promoting the support of individual's to control his/her own life and will supervise a staff of Community Supported Living Agents.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Establish, collaborate, & maintain regular contact with staff in supporting the individuals, their families, & circle of support to develop and achieve goals/outcomes & develop a trusting relationship.
Work directly with staff & individuals to provide additional support & leadership in times of crisis, which may mean providing direct support to the individual.
Work collaboratively with funding source to meet individual's needs as defined by the individual and their circle of support.
Expect, support, promote & manage change.
Identify available public & community resources for individuals including financial resources, natural, unpaid & paid supports.
Recruit, interview & hire appropriate Community Supported Living Agents in conjunction with individual's input.
Responsible for scheduling staff to meet each individual's needs.
Role model for employees on how to be an employee of choice.
Develop, monitor, & maintain assigned program budget Provide regular & intentional updates and seeks ideas for improvements through regularly scheduled staff meetings with Community Supported Living Agents.
Requirements EDUCATION AND/OR
Experience:
Associates Degree or higher preferred.
Prefer two years of experience with people with disabilities.
Require a philosophy that supports One Person at a Time, to allow individuals to control his/her own life.
One year management experience preferred in working with disabilities, aging and/or vocational rehab.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Must have a valid Driver's License.
Motor vehicle check (MVR) with a satisfactory driving record & auto insurance required.
Must pass a Caregiver Background Check.
First Aid training, & CPR Certificate (when required) preferred but may be obtained after hire.
TRAVEL:
Expect to travel on behalf of agency to oversee multiple locations & as required for training or transportation of the individual served.
