Class A or B Drivers Local Propane Delivery


Responsibilities:
Drive a bobtail delivery truck to customer sites (businesses and homes) and fill empty customer tanks of all sizes by pulling the hose from the truck to the tank location
Customer tanks may be located indoors or outdoors. Outdoor tanks are filled by using the hose from the truck; inside tanks are carried outside to the truck to be filled and then returned inside
Pay can be anywhere from $15.00 to $18.00 an hour depending on experience. Time and half after 40 hours. Normally monday thru friday during off season (April thru Sept) with a rotating on call schedule for weekends. During peak season (Oct thru March) could work either saturday or sunday depending on customer needs, as well as be on call.
All day work, no nights unless an emergency situation.
The public depends on propane to heat home and businesses, so drivers must be very dependable and willing to get the job done during all kinds of weather.
Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
At least 21 years old with a valid Class A or Class B CDL with HazMat, Tanker and Air Brake endorsements. Must already have the endorsements on license to apply.
Must have at least 6 months of Class A or Class B experience in the last 3 years
Willingness to work outdoors in all weather and driving conditions
Proficient verbal and written communication skills
Lifting, pushing, pulling, bending and climbing in and out of the truck
Good MVR open to review.
No DUI's in 5 yrs.
No felonies for violence in 7yrs.
Fraud and sex crimes are never hires.
No major drug charges in 7 yrs, ie distribution, selling or manufacture.
Simple possession can be reviewed
Stable work history, no more than six jobs in 3 yrs.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
