Machine Operator / Assembler and Warehouse Support

POSITION Overview:
This position produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies; fulfills shipments by pulling components and packing orders.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILTES:
Assembler/Machine Operator:
o Prepare for work by studying assembly instructions and parts list; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools
and materials.
o Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
o Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and subassemblies.
o Resolves assembly problems by notifying supervisor to alter dimensions or obtain additional resources.
o Verify specifications by measuring and/or testing completed product
o Operate CNC machines by loading and unloading machines for manufacturing parts and subassemblies.
o Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirement; following manufacturer's
instructions; notifying supervisor when trouble shooting and repairs are needed.
o Aid in maintaining the supply chain by checking inventory levels and notifying supervisor when material,
parts and subassemblies are at reorder or production levels.
o Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results
o Maintain safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
o Documents actions by completing production, quality and other documentation forms.
o Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results.
Warehouse Support:
o Prepares orders by processing requests; pulling materials, assembling and packing boxes, recording
logistic data, labeling and placing orders in the delivery area.
o Maintains quality by one last review of item before it is packed,
o Maintain a safe work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas and workstations neat; maintain a clean
shipping area; comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
o Aid in maintaining the supply chain by checking inventory levels and notifying supervisor when finished
goods or distributed items are at reorder or production levels.
o Assist in material/product receiving.
o Aid in general building maintenance, cleaning and related process improvement projects
o Documents actions by completing production, quality and other documentation forms.
o Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results.
o Heavy lifting (50lbs or more) may be required
SKILLS /
Qualifications:
While general tinsmith skills, manufacturing experience, CNC/CAD experience or machine and general
maintenance experience would be helpful, they are not required. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
