Head of IT for Clinical Data and Content Management DescriptionAccountable for developing, implementing, supporting, & evolving strategic information systems for Clinical Data and Content Management that globally enables BMS R&D.
Responsible for developing Data and Content Management capabilities and analytics capabilities that can be leveraged across full R&D portfolio from early clinical to late phase trials to enable clinical ops organizations with Database Design, Data Capture, Data Cleaning, Data review, Data Closure, Data provisioning, Reporting, Standards as well as Risk Based Monitoring processesResponsible for partnering with senior executives within the respective functions to define, plan for, prioritize, deliver & support strategic capabilities and to ensure maximum value is derived from capability investments.
Responsible in leading BMS R&D's Development Operations IT Transformation through business process transformation and IT capabilities development.
Responsible for ensuring capabilities are optimally leveraged across the entire biopharma enterprise through collaboration with relevant adjacent functions (e.

, Early Development, Registration Development, Late Phase Development).
Responsible for developing strategy to pilot new ideas/innovation through agile development and partnershipsResponsible for developing capability with Patient and stakeholders (e.

Qualifications QualificationsBS/BA in Engineering, Informatics or Life Sciences (or other quantitative related discipline).
MBA or other advanced degree is a plus.

Must have prior experience leading Clinical Data Management Transformation and System replacement with Pharma or BiotechDemonstrated strategic leadership & track record of maintaining effective business relationships with Sr.
Mgmt to ensure Informatics can deliver solutions that align with business strategies & objectives.
Strong functional knowledge of clinical data management & biostatistics, including industry data standards (e.
g.
CDISC), current technologies, associated business processes, varying operating models (e.
g.
, CRO), regulatory requirements, & global dimensions.
Demonstrated Horizon Scanning ability to bring external perspectives to influence IT strategy Demonstrated success implementing technology & process solutions to enhance business capability.
Proven ability to lead, manage & participate on multiple teams effectively with a consulting style.
Must have deep PM experience in technology-enabled projects, including use of SDLC methodologies in a regulated environment.
Demonstrated strong business analysis skills, requirements authoring, business process design & development of business cases.
Qualified in Lean Sigma or other process re-engineering methods.
Significant consulting, BPI & business transformation experience.
Demonstrated experience with portfolio planning, demand mgmt, release planning, and contract mgmt.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, influencing, networking & facilitation skills & effective use of governance models.
Substantial matrix management experience.
