bed Hospital North of Birmingham Alabama is hiring a seasoned Nurse Director of Surgical Services. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years' experience as an operating room staff nurse PLUS 2 years' managerial experience with emphasis on communication and organizational achievements. We currently have 9 OR suites and see Ortho, ENT, Urology, Vascular, Neurology, Spine, and Plastic Surgery cases.
The Director of Surgical Services assumes 24 hour responsibility for all functions of the Operating Room, Central Sterile, One Day Surgery, Pre-Admission Testing, PACU and Endoscopy. The Director plans, organizes, coordinates and evaluates all patient care provided on assigned areas as well accomplishes desired outcomes in collaboration with medical directors and medical staff. The Director also manages human and fiscal resources allocated to assigned areas and establishes / implements standards of practice that comply with regulatory agencies.

Salary:
Competitive salary of $90,000 to $110,000, based on skill and experience.
