Smartlink is looking to hire a Senior Director of Sales. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, the Senior Director of Sales plans and implements sales and marketing programs, both short and long range, targeted toward existing and new markets. The position is also responsible for following industry trends and anticipating customer needs along with building relationships with customers in key markets, as assigned.

Primary
Responsibilities:
Responsible for overall Services sales activities within assigned geographic territory.
Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
Develops and implements strategic marketing plans and sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate staffing and services objectives.
Directs sales forecasting activities and sets sales team performance goals accordingly.
Develops sales budgets. Analyzes and controls expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts sales strategy to meet changing market conditions.
Monitors competitor products and sales activities.
Represents Smartlink at industry meetings and events to promote company services.
Manages and directs reporting staff including recruitment, selection, and development to achieve Company goals and objectives.
Prepares periodic sales report showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
Reviews and analyzes sales performances against programs, quotas and plans to determine effectiveness.

Provide ongoing coaching and deliver candid feedback to direct reports and teammates while still building enthusiasm in the interest of improving Smartlink's overall market share.
Lead a never-ending initiative for performance improvement.

Education and
Experience:
The ideal candidate will have ten years of sales experience; including experience in a lead, supervisory, or management role.
Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, or related field; or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
M.B.A. or other advanced degree is an added advantage, but not required.

Travel Requirements:
Extensive travel (>50%) is expected in association with performing this position; travel can be overnight and for extended durations to cover client and industry meetings throughout an assigned sales territory.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
