Work with Product Engineer and Sales team to develop and refine new processes to meet customer design requirements. Works with manufacturing and quality assurance personnel to ensure proper implementation of new processes and manufacturing procedures.
Responsibilities:
Assess customer product design, apply Lean manufacturing principles and develop new production processes to meet quality and production timeline requirements for new product runs.
Specify new equipment needs or changes to manufacturing floor layout to accommodate new procedures.
Identify problem areas in manufacturing process and apply corrective action techniques including operator training and process flow optimization.
Requirements:

years designing and improving production line processes for large sheet vapor deposition or metallizing processes.
Familiarity with various metallizing techniques.
Bachelor of Science or higher in Chemical Engineering or similar.
Lean Six Sigma experience, Green Belt or higher a plus, familiarity with Kaizen process and events.
Base salary up to $120,000 with annual bonus, excellent paid training program and tuition reimbursement for continued education. Generous PTO for personal, vacation and sick days, paid holidays. Matched 401(k) and opportunities for advancement.
