Mechanical Inspector / CMM Operator

Responsibilities:
1. Inspection of in-process and/or final electrical/mechanical parts or sub-assemblies.
2. Mechanical inspection of complex mechanical parts and assemblies using Zeiss CMM.
3. Determination of product acceptability based on established criteria.
4. Generation and maintenance of inspection record documentation.
5. Generation of non-conformance reports.
6. Interface with Quality Assurance and QC Lead Person.
7. All other tasks required to achieve internal and external customer satisfaction.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND EDUCATION REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent, plus 1 year inspection experience.
2. Proficiency with Zeiss CMM.
3. Able to read and work with prints, drawings, Engineering Change Notices, procedures and criteria set forth to determine product/item acceptability.
4. Able to use a microscope, eyeloop and mechanical measuring instruments.
5. Good written communication skills.
6. Rarely requires supervisionEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
