SAFETY / FACILITY MANAGER (Environmental Health & Safety / Facility Manager)The PIC Group's Customer (a large Tier 1 Automotive Supplier in Springfield, TN) is looking for a full-time, direct hire ENVIRONMENTAL, HEALTH & SAFETY/FACILITY MANAGER to start immediately.
Salary range is $70,000-$85,000/year

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Educational Requirements:
o High School Diploma or equivalent; o BA/BS Degree in Environmental Science, Safety or related field with 5 years experience in the Safety fieldDesired Work
Experience:
o Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience; o Minimum of 3 years Safety experience; o Supervisor experience desired; o Tier One automotive experience.
Desired Skills:
o Knowledge of the 5S Methodology; o Knowledge of TS16949, ISO14001, OSHA, and TOSHA General Industry Standards and EPA Regulations; o Knowledge of stamping presses and robotic weld assembly; o Problem solving and analytical skills; o Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills; o Experience in Supervision; o Project Planning; o Experience working with multiple contractors; o Proficient in Microsoft OfficeJob Responsibilities and Duties:
o Plans, directs and administers environmental, health and safety programs; o Plans and administers the Workers' Compensation Program; o Responsible for reporting performance measurable and concerns to senior management; o Employee Advisor for Health and Safety issues and concerns.
Assesses concerns and coordinate with various departments for completion.
Follow up where necessary; o Coordinate and participate in JHSC Workplace inspections and track action items; o Coordinate JHSC meetings; o Liaison with Engineering department to put forth proactive H&S; o Management Advisor regarding Health and Safety legislation in relation to the workplace; o Ensures personnel, contractors and visitors are in compliance with Company policies and procedures; o Manages all the basic requirements of the building:
hygiene, water, electricity, air condition, etc; o Assists in the work to safely meet quality, production and delivery goals; o Maintain records and logs; o Assists in the implementation of policies and procedures; o Recommends improvements in operational methods, equipment and procedures;o Establishes clear expectations and holds employees accountable; o Ensure all the building codes are in order; o Participates and leads continuous improvement initiatives and cost reduction opportunities; o Plans and assists in the development and training of employees; o Lead and conduct internal audits for QMS and EMS; o Overseeing building and ground maintenance to ensure repairs and PMs are completed; o Overseeing the housekeeping of the facility; o Waste reduction improvements;Please review the complete job description and if you qualify, apply on-line at:
