Manufacturing Engineer

Our client, located in Seville, Ohio, has an immediate need to fill the position of Manufacturing Engineer.

Job Description
This Company provides manufacturing and engineering services to a wide variety of industries including automotive and construction. Looking for a Manufacturing Engineer.
This indididual will lead engineering in the development of new equipment and processes, while performing general duties to keep existing production equipment operational. Continually investigate job processes to improve them and eliminate potential quality and production errors. Responsible for manufacturing engineering for all processes.

Duties and Responsibilities
o Assist engineering departments in the implementation of new equipment and processes for manufacturing.
o Gather and prepare technical information on new and existing equipment.
o Develop and maintain troubleshooting procedures for any problem.
o Manage troubleshooting, preventative maintenance and repairs on all equipment.
o Develop maintenance procedures and quality standards for equipment.
o Keep all fixtures functioning properly. Advise on materials and metallurgical concerns.
o Assist in the design of all welding fixtures with the Design Engineers.
o Maintain all preventive maintenance equipment. Use a network computer for welding software and process documentation.
o Document manufacturing processes in computer.
o Develop manufacturing process improvements.
o Supervise and train technician in proper fixture and maintenance procedures.
o Use technical skills to troubleshoot equipment and use those skills to efficiently correct any problems that interfere with production requirements.
o Work safely and be aware of all potential dangers that may affect you and others around you. This includes the proper use of tools, equipment, and following OSHA safety regulations (lockout tagout).
o Bring new jobs online by programming, fabrication, and re-writing (based on job specification). This may require the modification of existing equipment.
o Maintain and repair electrical equipment as required. o Maintain inventory of supplies necessary to maintain production.
o Assist in the implementation of sensor applications in stamping tools.
o Attend corrective action meetings to assist in developing and implementing corrective action plans.
o Follow all applicable TS16949 processes.

Education and Experience
o Bachelor's Degree in related field and/or equivalent of 5 years automation/weld experience.
o 2 years manufacturing experience.
o PLC experience.

o Interested in 3rd Shift.
o Local or close enough for a short easy move.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
