Master Technician

Purpose of the position:
1. As a key member of the Weichai America Corp team, the Master Technician is responsible for parts and service support, technical training, and warranty administration of all engine systems and components.
2. Will work with internal and external engine component suppliers, technical personnel, and sales engineers to provide service parts, technical training, technical advice, and warranty assistance to engine distributors and customers.
3. Will work with component suppliers to ensure the availability of service parts for engine repairs and maintenance.
4. Will work with management and suppliers to establish and set-up best practices to provide quality service and on-time delivery of products and service to customers.
5. Assists in development, set-up, and training for final stage manufacturing.
6. Will work with members of the team and be a hands on engine mechanic.
Qualifications &
Experience:
1. AAS Mechanical/Automotive Technology. BS degree preferred.
2. 5
years of natural gas, gasoline, alternative fuels, or diesel engine component service and repair experience.
3. 5
years experience with Engine Diagnostic Tools.
4. 5
years experience using computerized engine diagnostic software programsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
