This is a contract role for an initial 6 months. Pay rate is $60-$80/HR.
In this position, you will act as a Linux Engineer integrating RHEL systems to Active Directory environments. You will lead in the remediation and deployment of Active Directory security best practices across several domains within the Linux environment.
Pull information out of the IP Management database and do analysis on what has already been done.
Perform a clinical overview of the client's Active Directory and then recommend/implement something that is attainable by reasonable measures.
Move from Linux servers that is enabled by BIAS to one that is using BIAS.
Job Duties and
Responsibilities:
Managing Linux authentication to Microsoft Active Directory or LDAP
Extensive experience with integrating RHEL systems to Active Directory environments.
Thorough understanding for Active Directory, GPO and DNS.
Practical experience with Active Directory 2003, 2008 & 2012 with scripting knowledge and solid capabilities around the following:
Experience with AD administration. PowerShell/VB scripting experience.
Understanding of Windows and AD security (NTLM,Kerberos,trusts, SID Filtering etc.,).
Perform AD administrative tasks such as reviewing and removing obsolete/stale objects in AD, fix permissions and manage Group Policy Objects
Develop process documentation for tasks like stale objects removals
Research application AD integration configurations best practice domain models
Be able to troubleshoot and diagnose problems with domain controllers
Update AD and Domain controller configurations per security best practice documentation
Develop scripts for remediating issues
Monitor AD replication, backups etc.,
Provide Senior Level Linux Systems Server setup, administration, configurations, and automated implementations.
Help support LINUX environments services and resources for optimal efficiency, functionality, security and management.
Assist and support all Development and troubleshoot complex application issues
Extensive experience in automating systems with Chef, Puppet, CFEngine, Salt Stack, etc
Using and managing Version Control Systems such as Perforce and git
Continuously integrating code with Jenkins or Bamboo
Virtualization with VMware, a plus
Using Splunk for monitoring, analysis and alertsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
