JOB
Summary:
The Referral Clerk of Community Health Systems, Inc. (CHSI) has the responsibility of working collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to coordinate all activities concerning patient medical care and referrals. This includes all necessary paperwork that needs to be coordinated with patients, billing, or entities that need to be faxed. Responsible for patient notification, referral logs and forms completed and handled per disease management guidelines, scheduling with organizations, and assuring referral records being processed in accordance with CHSI clinical protocols.
Qualifications
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
High School graduate or Equivalent
Medical Assistant OR education/training in a related field preferred
Typing skills of 35 wpm
Experience in healthcare highly preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
