Manufacturing Engineer


Develops and implements optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards. Recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods and controls. Coordinates manufacturing launch for new or revised products.

Coordinates the manufacturing launch of new/revised products including establishing goals, training team members and evaluating results.
Designs, develops and tests various tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
Performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiency.
Prepares quotations, including layout concepts, processing and costs.
Initiates new tooling purchase requests, budget summaries and supplier quotes for submission and approval.
Creates, updates, and presents data, statistical information, project time lines and status updates as required.
Supports new model launches and improvement teams.
Performs research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment.
Prepares and maintains detailed layout of plant and machines.
Understands, support and implement continuous improvement skills (5S, Lean Manufacturing techniques).
Understands, supports, and implements the company Safety, Quality, Environmental, and Housekeeping policies and procedures into daily work habits. Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
