Summary:
The Outreach Coordinator supports the clinic(s) by the implementation of the Outreach Department's objective to carry out the mission of CHSI through developing community relationships, organizing clinic health fairs, expand the number of patients to assigned clinic(s), and educating the community about CHSI services and programs.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to pay close attention to detail.
Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with divergent and diverse groups
Must possess good customer service including verbal and written communication.
A high standard of professionalism is expected in speech, manner, attitude and appearance at all times.
Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
High standard of professional ethics and conduct is expected.
Ability to deal effectively with changing situations and stressful environment.
Ability to perform tasks related to physical activity to complete the responsibilities of the position.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Three years or more of related experience required. Bachelor Degree or five years of experience preferred.
Current CA Driver's License and proof of automobile insurance
Must obtain a Certified Application Assistant (CAA) certification within 60 days of employment
Must be able to travel locally 80% of the time
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
