Family Law Paralegal

Immediate full time or part time family law paralegal position available.
Essential responsibility and duties:
? Prepares legal documents for attorney's approval
? Prepares pleadings,notice and subpoena's
? Coordinating with support services and clients, opposing law firms, and courts
? Manages court docket calendars, maintaining schedules and deadlines; generating status reports, logs and indexes
? Preparation for trial

Skills and attributes:
? Strong sense of client service.
? Good organizational skills
? Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed.
? Paralegal experience
? Ability to determine work priorities
? Proficient with Essential Forms, Word Perfect & Outlook
? Able to organize, prepare and format legal documents and correspondence
? Knowledge of Court Procedures (i.e. handling subpoenas, filing deadlines, service procedures, etc).
Experience requirement:
? High School Diploma
? Paralegal Certificate
Physical requirement:
? Standing, sitting, walking, lifting heavy boxes and able to pass a drug test.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
