At Surreal, the bartenders are an integral part of the dining experience, offering suggestions and recommendations, such as wine and beer pairings or which signature drink a guest may enjoy. Your primary responsibility is to anticipate our guests' needs and provide each one with an amazing service. We are looking for one full time bartender whose duties would include, making drinks, possessing a large knowledge of drink recipes, checking for proper identification, maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of the bar area, replacing kegs, handling employee issues, handling customer complaints and disturbances, scheduling employees, supervising other bartenders, ordering supplies and alcohol and overseeing the workings of the bar area. You must know the standard drink recipes and be able to mix them quickly and accurately. Surreal is a service intensive establishment and bartending is a service focused role, so the demands placed upon you will be significant. If you are not up for this, please do not apply.

What you need to qualify:
-The ability to work independently with professionalism while maintaining a focus on quality and top-notch customer service.
-Candidates are required to have extensive experience as a bartender (preferably in a high pace environment)
-Technology savvy individuals preferred.
-Pour tests will be conducted at the time of the interview
-Candidates must be 21 years of age.
-They should also have the ability to walk or stand for the majority of each shift
and lift up to 50 pounds.
