FIeld Tech to support drilling crew Field Technician Position
Summary: This position as a Field Technician supports the drilling crew in the drilling operation. The Field Technician will move, and set up drilling rigs and related equipment to drill holes. Work is outdoors in all weather conditions. The work is generally physically demanding. This position requires travel and the ability to work with a small crew of three or four. This position is the 3rd or 4th man on the crew. Position may require extended working shifts to include working 10 days on and 4 days off, night shifts, weekends and holidays.
Essential Functions:
o Able to perform physical labor in all weather conditions
o Ability to wear required PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, metatarsal boots, etc.)
o Mechanical ability to do minor repairs
o Maintain equipment
o Adhere to safety policies and procedures
o Study for Driller license or CEU's
o CDL Class A or B license or ability to obtain within 90 days
o Perform physical labor, shoveling, drilling debris, and transport materials using ergonomically correct lifting techniques
o Ability to travel
o May be required to perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
40HR Hazwoper training and maintain certifications
Experiences in construction or drilling
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds througout the day
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and a pulmonary function test

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
