SUMMARY
Looking for a Permanent Psychiatrist shall provide medication management services to clients and provide consultation to other clinicians/counselors as needed. The psychiatrist will work forty (40) hours per week (not including on-call and travel times). The normal work schedule will be Monday through Friday from 8:
00 a.m. to 5:
00 p.m. both outpatient and inpatient, the psychiatrist will be on call every 3rd week on a rotating basis also work in the inpatient unit. Must be willing to evaluate and attend both adults and children.
A typical day include psychological evaluations in the morning and afternoons including medical checks. The initial psychiatric evaluations should take approximately 45-60 minutes, including notation. Medication check- ups, including notation, are expected to take 15 minutes. We schedule appointments accordingly and expect all service documentation to be dictated at the end of each session.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be familiar with EMR and expected to do physical exams.
EDUCATION
Board Certified Psychiatrist.
