This position will encompass, electrical work, reliability programs, instrumentation/analyzer, and automation
Position Responsibilities
Develop, maintain and upgrade operator displays and PLC systems
Implement and maintain electrical Condition Based Monitoring programs including; electrical motor diagnostics, infrared thermography, etc
Assist with other reliability based programs including vibration measurement and analysis, and ultrasonic and nondestructive testing including laser alignment
In conjunction with the electrical department, troubleshoot hardware and software applications to maintain efficient operation of control, instrumentation and analyzer systems
Verify process data (software use of data, alarm levels, field signals, totalizer logic)
Interface/coordinate with network administration occasionally: install new process software, update existing process software, train users and troubleshoot software/hardware problems as required
Supervision of Electrical Technician
Leading and/or assisting automation/electrical/instrument/analyzer projects
Occasional travel Educational Criteria
This position is ideal for someone looking to gain leadership experience in an electrical engineering role, as they will be supervising one Electrical Technician.
MUST HAVES:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 3 years of experience working in an industrial environment
3-5 years of total work experience in electrical automation
Working knowledge of DCS and PLC programming, hardware and interfaces, control systems, loop tuning and automation
Experience with control PLC systemsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
