Senior Multimedia Designers
SanDisk Corporation needs Senior Multimedia Designers in Milpitas, CA to drive, create, design and produce rich-media digital assets for the Web and 3D product renderings and videos for the SanDisk global Retail business. Utilize skill sets in visual design, web development, UX (User Experience) design and motion graphics to deliver high quality digital multimedia solutions, primarily for global digital marketing and advertising on the web and in Divisional presentations. Drive, develop and deliver multimedia solutions and demos from scripts, creative briefs and team meetings, for interactive and online marketing efforts. Collaborate with team members (Creative Director, fellow Designers, Copywriter, Product and Marketing Managers) to deliver compelling story boards, web and motion graphics solutions in a timely manner. Proactively identify interactive design opportunities in Worldwide Retail Marketing and Corporate Brand areas. Actively team with Marketing Communications Manager to support the creative development of animated/web tools for Worldwide Retail Marketing and Corporate Brand teams. Responsible for overall quality of design solutions and drive successful delivery of internal client work. Research, identify and share current industry multimedia trends in retail marketing materials, motion graphics and interactive multi-media. Gain complete understanding of internal creative development process. Communicate project status verbally and in written form, meet committed deadlines of projects to key stakeholders.
Employer will accept Masters degree in Fine Arts, Design, Multimedia Design or related field and two years of work experience in job offered or in a multimedia designer-related occupation. Education or experience must include:
1. Fundamental elements of design;
2. HTML, CSS, PHP, and JavaScript/jQuery;
3. UI/UX design ;
4. Motion graphics production ;
5. 3D rendering and animation software such as Maya or 3ds Max;
6. Flash and ActionScript 3.0; and
7. Adobe Creative Cloud software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, After Effects, Dreamweaver).
Experience may be gained concurrently.
