Dry Cleaning Plant Manager - Groveport
Overall Job Function: Dry Cleaning Plant Manager will oversee the day to day operations of our dry cleaning department.
Job Responsibilities including but not limited to:
Ensure compliance to consistent quality standards while maximizing production levels
Utilize department resources, including work assignments, training, and cross training to obtain the maximum production levels
Ability to analyze the daily department operation and be capable of adapting/overcoming daily challenges
Ability motivate the team through his or her leadership and high standards
Ability to work closely with both the Sr. Operations Manager and the Operations Manager as well as several other area supervisors
Ensure operational excellence in all warehouse functions including but not limited to labor management, shipping and receiving, inventory management, quality assurance and safety
Professionally evaluates employee performance, recommends or initiates hiring, promotions, transfers or disciplinary actions
Measures work performance; compares results to objectives; takes corrective actions
Provide leadership and development to the operational team
Correctly interpret and enforce company policies and safety procedures
Ensures the facility is properly secured and maintained
Assist other employees in the performance of their assigned duties when necessary
Job Requirements:
10
years of cleaning management experience
Dry Cleaning & Laundry experience is desired
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Capable of lifting and maneuvering up to 50 pounds
Strong organizational, time-management, and project management skills
Strong computer skills, including spreadsheets, databases, and word processing
Strong problem solving skills and decision-making abilities
Principles and practices of effective leadership skills
Physical Demands / Work Environment
Work is performed in a warehouse environment. Working environments, include but are not limited to warehouse, climate controlled office and a variety of work environments.
May be required to lift, carry, push, and pull items weighting up to 50 pounds. A full range of body motion it required on the job to include frequent sitting, bending, stooping, crouching, lifting, carrying, grasping, pinching, feeling, walking, standing, climbing, driving, pushing/pulling, handling, balancing, reaching on all planesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
