Cyber Security Engineer

Qualis Corporation is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer provide support for cybersecurity and penetration testing to include hardware, network, and software requirements definition, planning, and test design supporting the TEAS contract at Eglin Air Force Base, FL.
The TEAS program provides technical, engineering and integration support to the research, development, acquisition, test and evaluation of air- launched weapon systems, test and training range systems, and numerous air combat support systems
Responsibilities
Provide cybersecurity support with extensive expertise in the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process to support many Air Force and DoD acquisition programs through the DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) and Risk Management Framework (RMF) processes.
Serve as a member of a team that represents an Agent of the Security Control Assessor, engineers execute hands-on testing which include significant technical skills with multiple operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix, VxWorks) as well as software/databases (SQL Server, Oracle).
Experience and Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Assurance, or Cybersecurity required.
Minimum of 10 years of experience required; or 7 year of experience with a Masters degree; or 5 years of experience with a PhD.
Experience in cybersecurity, systems engineering, or a related field is required. DOD 8570 certification(s) (i.e. CISSP, Security+, CEH, CISA, CCNA, MCSE, Linux or equivalent certifications) are required.
Must be detail oriented and able to handle multiple tasks with excellent problem solving and time management skills.
Must be able to communicate effectively and present technical details both verbally and in writing.
Must be able to work effectively as part of a team, and to lead and direct the work of others.
Proficiency in the use and integration of Microsoft Office applications preferred.
Must have strong problem solving skills; analytical ability; interpersonal, organizational, and teambuilding skills along with communication, writing, and oral presentation skills.
Must be able to provide clear, concise, and accurate communication.
Must work well with customers, supervisors, and coworkers and able to receive supervision.
Must be able to work effectively alone, unsupervised or in groups.
Requires punctuality for scheduled duty hours.
Must be able to work flexible and varied hours.
Travel
Travel is required and typically occurs 12-18 weeks per year. Passport may be required.
Must be able to rent and operate a rental car while TDY.
Clearance
The candidate must be eligible for and able to maintain an Active Top Secret Clearance/SSBI.
Active Top Secret Clearance preferred.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
