POSITION TITLE:
Sales Lead Overview:
The Sales Lead is a part-time, non-management position which has all of the responsibilities of our Sales Associate to drive sales and deliver outstanding 'Customer First' service to our customers.
In addition, the Sales Lead is responsible for supporting the Store Management Team in overseeing the day-to-day operations, merchandising, and customer service in the Store, while serving as a role model to less experienced Sales Associates.
The Sales Lead will be expected to follow opening and closing procedures when applicable, and will hold store keys.
Responsibilities:
Driving Sales Lead and model the selling and service goals to achieve each shift segment accountabilityAssist customers with product selections through service and sellingProvide outstanding customer service and demonstrate thorough product knowledgeMonitor selling floor and ensure communication and achievement of goals and tasksServe as Floor Sales Leader on designated shiftsSupport the development of the sales team through direct feedback and coaching on the sales floor related to Customer First selling behaviors, operations and merchandising.
Complete regular sales on cash register and handle exception transactions in the absence of Store Management Customer First Maintain awareness to ensure store associates consistently follow company policies and customer service standards in managers' absenceProvide assistance for easily-solved customer issues and work with a member of management to resolve more difficult situations Operations Assist Store Manager, Co-Sales Manager, Assistant Manager, and/ or Junior Sales Manager in Store Operational tasks as needed.
Opening and closing the storeOpening and closing registers, merchandise credits, refunds, associate purchases, etc.
Completing opening checklistAccepting/ receiving shipmentMaintenance of the storeBank Deposits Merchandising/ Product Knowledge Provide leadership or assistance with floorsets, window changes, visual merchandising standards, signage placement, etc.
using direction from the Store Communications and Visual Merchandising Team.
Assist with stocking and replenishing both backroom and sales floorAccept other non-supervisory duties as assigned Talent Serve as Floor Sales Leader on designated shifts and provide in-the-moment feedback and coaching related to selling, service, operations and merchandising/ product knowledge to less experienced Sales Associates.
Provide communication to store management relative to individual and team performance during shiftRefer all formal talent decisions and discussions to a member of the management team (writing the weekly schedule, hiring/ termination decisions, performance review delivery, corrective action/ performance improvement process, etc.
)
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of previous retail experienceMust be at least 18 years of agePassionate, energetic and personable individual with excellent communication skillsHigh achiever with a proven track record of success in retail and aspirations for a management positionA role model for others; strong work ethic, integrity, and a great ambassador for NY&CStrong commitment to outstanding customer service with solid problem solving and customer resolution skills.

Sense of urgency and ability to plan, organize, prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesScheduling availability which meets the needs of the store.
The Sales Lead should be able to work between 20 and 30 hours per week.
MISC NOTES:
The Sales Leader position is a part-time, non- management position (not eligible for PTO or Health Insurance benefits).
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
