Qualifications: YOU MUST POSSESS, OR HAVE THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN AN AWS CERTIFICATION IN SMAW OR GMAW
Technical Certification - QC5: 91, AWS Standard for the Certification of Welding Educators section 2 & 5. or the equivalent.
Comprehensive welding knowledge including 5
years of verifiable field experience
Strong credentials in SMAW, MIG, TIG, FCAW, OFC, PAC, ASAC, & shop safety
Must be strong in welding theories
Basic familiarity with email and Microsoft Office
Willingness and demonstrated ability to work with students, teachers and administrators as a team member
Good organization skills
State-issued driver's license or State-issued identification card with photograph
History of good job attendance
Must pass criminal background check
Associates degree is preferred
SALARY RANGE: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
START DATE: varies with program requirements - Day and evening classes

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
