Satellite Cable Technician

AEI, Dish Network's Regional Service Provider in Wisconsin and Michigan, is currently hiring in the Houghton area.
Full-time technicians of AEI are given a company van and are routed to work orders in the area around their home each day via a company tablet. When the vans are taken home, technicians only need to report to their local branch office when meetings are held or to replenish their equipment.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
AEI technicians are responsible for installing, upgrading, and repairing Dish Network's satellite-based television services in the customers' homes as well as providing Best in Class customer service to each customer throughout the day.
Requirements and
Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older. Must possess a valid driver's license and High School Diploma or equivalent. Must be able to lift over 70 lbs at times (ladder). Possess a working knowledge of power tools. Familiarity with running/splicing coaxial cable or other telecommunications is a plus. Ability to work independently, stand for long periods of time on a ladder or roof, work in small spaces, work in all climates/weather conditions.
Pay/
Benefits:
$35k-$40k average first year earnings, $50k average second year earnings
3-4 weeks paid training
Benefits including: health, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, paid vacation, 401(k).Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
