Senior Product Engineer
Our client is looking for a Senior Product Engineer to lead their engineering projects in support of product development and new business opportunities.
Responsibilities:
Creation and/or review of product performance specifications
Proof of concept evaluation and technical assessment of designs
Recommend design changes that meet customer's technical requirements
DFMEA and DVP&R reviews with customers
Analysis of prototype parts for functional performance
Release design for various program phases in conformance with product design guidelines and Product Development Processes
Plant product support for improved quality, manufacturing efficiency or design cost reductions.
Education/
Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
5
years experience in close tolerance mechanical/hydraulic devices
Detailed understanding of design processes
Knowledgeable in GD&T and tolerance stacks
Excellent problem solving skills (8D, FTA, DOE)
Familiarity with statistical methods for data analysisEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
