Nurse LPN

Evant, Inc. is a leading area provider of residential services for people with developmental disabilities throughout Summit County, Ohio. We have an immediate opening for a full time and part-time LPNs. This position is responsible for the duties outlined below.
Position Responsibilities (Illustrative Only):
Requires strong clinical knowledge, judgment, and expertise as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Demonstrates creativity, problem-solving skills, and enthusiasm while maintaining a safe working environment.
Must be able to perform in a fast-paced, supportive environment providing primary nursing care to a caseload of 10-13 individuals.
Demonstrates ability to triage multiple requests for assistance depending on the urgency and health risks to the individual client.
Must be able to demonstrate and perform the key job functions of coordination of care, clarifying orders, performing complete and focused assessments, delegating safely and effectively to unlicensed, certified staff, ensuring that medication records and plans of care are current and correct, and overseeing the monitoring of medication administration and all health related activities.
Must be able to successfully perform all clinical skills as taught in a contemporary LPN training program.
Must be knowledgeable about the scope of care delivered in emergency departments, primary care and physician specialty offices, hospitals, and skilled nursing facilities.
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and strong written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, staff, interdisciplinary team members, and other key providers.
Must be able to demonstrate advocacy in action through positive relationships with team members while supporting the health and safety of residents.
Understands and supports the nursing framework of Relationship-based Care.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be a registered LPN in the State of Ohio
Five years of progressive experience as an LPN, with responsibilities in a long-term care setting or other community based setting such as home care.
Experience with the developmentally disabled population and/or psychiatric mental health nursing is a plus.
Requires weekend rotation (generally every fifth weekend) and some rotation to different time schedules to meet the needs of residents.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
