Speech Language Pathologist

Responsibilities: The SLP will administer speech-language pathology services to include In Patient, Acute Rehab Unit, Out Patient, and other areas as indicated. The SLP will diagnose disorders and provide therapy for patients who demonstrate disorders of communication and/or swallowing. The SLP will also assist in the management of the department's daily operations, provide staff and physician educational in-services, and participate in marketing speech-language pathology services.

Qualifications:
Basic lingual, mathematical, and computer skills
Demonstrated leadership skills
Knowledge of current regulatory requirements related to hospital-based speech-language pathology services.
Experience and knowledge in the evaluation and treatment of neurogenic communication disorders, voice problems, swallowing difficulties, and speech and language developmental delays. Ability to tailor therapies with respect to age-specific competency requirements.
EDUCATION: This position requires a minimum of a Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

LICENSURE: Current Arizona License for Speech-Language Pathology; Certificate of Clinical Competency (or eligible); current CPR Certification; valid Arizona driver's license; proof of automobile insurance; and current fingerprint card.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires sedentary work, occasionally lifting up to 40 pounds and carrying/pushing moderately sized objects a short distance. Regularly needs to bend, stoop, and reach objects without difficulty. Requires sitting 70% of the time at a desk or computer workstation. Must be able to frequently use computer keyboard, typewriter, and telephone.Must be able to drive vehicle for distances up to 80 miles or longer without difficulty.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
