Fleet Manager

Wonderful Bees is building a national beekeeping operation and is currently seeking individuals for a professional Fleet Manager position in Florida. The Fleet Manager is responsible for the daily operations and activities of our agricultural shop, safety department and supporting an array of departments. The ideal candidate will be proactive, hands-on, with solid understanding of equipment used in the business operations, and ensure safety policies and procedures are aligned with governmental regulations. This position reports to the Farm Manager.
Responsibilities of the Fleet Manager include, but are not limited to the following:
Oversee and be accountable for all activities of their assigned shop
Management of equipment repairs and preventative maintenance
Hands on experience in repairing and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
Failure analysis
Manager record keeping protocol to meet or exceed DOT/CSA standards
Manage budget and processes for capitol expense vs. daily maintenance spending
Establish PO system for control
Establish a protocol and maintain daily list of Down Vehicles which is revised and published daily
Procure a maintenance software/management program
Manage training and safety for operators and drivers
Establish and maintain weekly safety meetings that meet or exceed OSHA standards
Coordinate employee safety programs to determine their adequacy including review of short and long term strategic safety planning and development
Conduct or coordinate worker training in areas such as safety laws and regulations, hazardous condition monitoring, and use of safety equipment
Perform safety audits and inspect facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards, and to ensure safety regulation compliance
Provide support to Managers and field level employees whenever necessary
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications include, but are not limited to the following:
Knowledgeable in the following types of equipment including trailers, skid steers/Bobcats, chain saws, weed eaters, trucks, cars, forklifts, etc.
Minimum of five (5) years direct experience in equipment repair and maintenance management.
Valid State Driver's License with Medical Card.
Knowledge of local vendors and contractors.
Proficiency with computers including Microsoft programs (specifically excel), internet, smart phone. Tech savvy is a plus.
Fluency in Spanish and English, a must.
Demonstrated knowledge of accounting.
Good communication and organization skills.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
