Our client is a world class design driven lighting manufacturer established in 1946 developing HID, LED, CFL, motion sensing technology driven lighting systems. Continued growth has them seeking an experience electrical/lighting product sourcing specialist to assume the role of:
Buyer - Bergen County, New Jersey facility - Local candidates only!
Are you familiar with electronics components? Do you enjoy dealing with electronics suppliers both domestically and internationally? Do you excel at sourcing components and negotiating prices?
If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you. Working for a company with long established brand and exploding growth, reporting directly to the VP of Purchasing, you will support the new product team's objectives to obtain targets in quality, delivery and cost effectiveness.
Responsibilities
Source electronics components
Propose and evaluate substitute component parts
Provide estimated cost based on power supply BOM
Evaluate and qualify electronics vendors
Negotiate for price, delivery and quality
Education & Experience Required
Bachelors' degree in business or engineering required
Minimum 3-5 years of electronics sourcing experience
Required Skills
Microsoft Office suite
