Purchasing Buyer
Purchasing 40-45k, excellent company and benefits
Responsibilities:
Reviews sales forecast and customer order demands in order to establish sequence and lead time of each operation and determine the accuracy of master production schedule.
Analyzes plant capacity data and production specifications and performs mathematical calculations to determine material requirements in order to meet the time demands of the plan.
Interfaces with sales department and warehouse to ensure the plan efficiency and schedule adherence are maintained in order to satisfy customer demands.
Reviews and approves engineering changes or new product implementation for feasibility and schedule in to the production plan for execution.
Expedites needed purchased materials to ensure the production schedule is maintained and to meet any unforeseen conditions. .
REQUIREMENTS
3-5 years working background within a manufacturing type environment
Minimum two years as a Planner/Scheduler with a manufacturing company
Experience with a computerized ERP/MRP/SAP or equivalent scheduling system
Strong analytical and sound decision making skills
Able to work independently with little or no direct supervision and within a team
Solid experience with Excel software.
Previous experience in the Fastener insdustry is helpfulEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
