Builders Surplus is growing fast. We need ambitious outgoing positive individuals who love to help people with their remodeling projects, who want to focus on kitchen design, function, and computer aided (Pro Kitchen) layout, selling the project, and managing the process.
This position requires meeting and greeting people in a retail environment.Finding out their project, needs, wants, and helping them through all of the stages of a new kitchen or remodel.
Working Saturdays is a requirement, but our family friendly hours and single shift offer a great balance for work and home.
Hours of operation are as follows (however, this position will work 5 of these days with two days off).:
Monday-Friday 9:00AM-6:00PM
Saturdays 9:00AM-5:00PM
Sundays 10:00AM-5:00PM

Builders Surplus is a customer service focused home remodel retailer with 4 key categories, Millwork (Doors, windows, and Trim) Flooring (hardwoods, tile and laminates), Kitchen & Bath (cabinets, countertops, vanities, plumbing) We are a privately owned company with multiple store locations and with plans to expand. Lots of advancement opportunities for ambitious loyal individuals, with a balance between work and home.
SALES ASSOCIATE
As a Kitchen Designer you are responsible for greeting, designing, and managing the sales process.
We pay a competitive hourly rate plus commission.
The ideal candidate for this position will enjoy working in a retail environment, have experience in sales, exceptional customer service skills, the ability to be part of a high performance team and be goal driven. Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
