Facility Maintenance Technician


Summary:
Maintains and repairs physical structures of buildings and maintains internal functionality of buildings.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Perform general custodial duties and maintenance of the building at all times
Respond to maintenance requests and repairs by residents and staff
Fix doors, windows and light fixtures
Handle the turnover of empty units
Perform basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry
Ensure sprinklers and smoke detectors are in good working order
Respond to emergency calls relating to building maintenance
Ensure service providers are contacted for more complex issues with HVAC, electrical or plumbing
Report any issues to management
Be available to residents for general inquires about building operation.
Qualifications
o High school diploma or GED and 3-5 years experience in a building maintenance role
o General understanding of basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry
o Knowledgeable with repair and general maintenance
o Flexible schedule and able to work evenings and weekends and handle emergency calls
o Good communication and customer service skills
Great Hours! 10 am - 6:
30 p.m. May include some weekends.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
