Assistant Maritime Operations Planner

Working with our Director of Marine Operations this is a shore-side position for someone who wants to gain experience in maritime operations without having to be away from home too often.
Specifically you will;
Conduct itinerary planning for coastal, riverboat, and international cruise ships including tides and currents where necessary
Knowledge of and research into regulatory guidelines to ensure operations conform to all applicable requirements
Liaise with local port/facilities to discuss and plan potential improvements to small cruise ship facilities
Track operational statistics for long term evaluation of efficiencies
Fill mate position aboard cruise ships occasionally to stay in tune with demands of the job
Sometimes act as ship's agent to support cruise ship port calls
What you'll need to apply;
Minimum of 100 Ton Near Coastal Masters License
Previous boat experience as Master or Mate
Undergraduate or technical degree, or equivalent work experience
Knowledge of Microsoft Office:
Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Knowledge of small passenger vessel operations
This is an ideal job for recent maritime graduates or others in the industry who want to learn more.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
