Contract Windows System Engineer
This is a contract assignment that should last till the end of 2015 or longer. If you are able to work on site in the Ft. Lauderdale/Miami area or can relocate to this area at your own expense, please apply. You must be able to pass an extensive background check and drug screen. Key Qualifications and Requirements:
o 7
Years experience in the design and operation of an enterprise Windows infrastructure
o Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server design, deployment, configuration and troubleshooting in an enterprise environment
o Thorough knowledge of Microsoft core services such as DNS, WINS, DHCP, TCP/IP
o Demonstrable experience with Microsoft technologies such as Microsoft Windows Server, Exchange and IIS
o Knowledge of file and system level replication and architectures
o Ability to create and maintain systems and network documentation using Microsoft Visio and other Microsoft Office products
o Experience with creating and managing detailed project plans using Microsoft Project
o Experience with Wintel hardware platforms, specifically HP servers
o Strong preference for Office 365 mailbox migration experience
o Ability to handle multiple projects/tasks
o Ability to provide 24x7 support
o Experience in the following areas are a definite plus:
o SQL Server
o VMware ESX Server
o Citrix technologies
o Windows Standard Build/Imaging technologies
o SAN Technologies
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
o Provide first, second and third-level support for all Microsoft Windows Server technologies
o Design and deploy enterprise-level Windows Server technologies
o Provide short and long-term planning for systems maintenance and upgrades as necessary for system health
o Analyze and maintain performance data to ensure optimal use of resources
o Provide technical leadership to other team members
o Provide project management on assigned projects
