Dental Assistant Needed for Full-Time Position
Dental Assistant needed for immediate position at a state facility in McCormick, SC.
Candidate must have the following to be considered:
a diploma / certification in a Dental Assistant program
radiology certified by the SC Dental Board
Current CPR certification
Hours are Monday - Friday from 6:00am - 2:00pm. All candidates MUST be able to begin the process to become credentialed to work in this state corrections facility upon offer of position.
Duties Include:
o Assists the dentist with a variety of treatment procedures -- works with dental instruments and material
o Helps patients feel comfortable before, during and after dental treatment
o Takes and processes x-rays if/when needed
o Prepares and sterilizes instruments and equipment
o Communicates with patients, other health, dental, and medical professionals
o Performs a variety of office management tasks including documentation of work performedEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
