Purchasing Materials Environmental Manager

o Knowledge of Business Plan Goals and Objectives
o Work within a framework of Team oriented management.
o Awareness and understanding of their roles and responsibilities within all applicable environmental & safety plans, policies, and procedures
o Manage the regulatory environmental tracking, reporting, and permitting requirements (Storm Water, MACT, Title 5, etc.)
o Ensure all teammates under their supervision adhere to all applicable environmental & safety plans, policies, and procedures
o Utilize Basic Principles of leadership and management to deal with teammates, supervisors, and managers
o Awareness and understanding of all applicable Quality System Procedures and Instructions
o Manage the productivity and continuously develop the skills of the material cutters, Stock Room Clerk and Purchasing Assistant
o Ability to negotiate and obtain quality, cost effective raw materials, manufacturing supplies and services that meet or exceed manufacturing requirements
o Manage and develop our purchasing system and supplier base to meet or exceed our goals and objectives
o Manage and develop our scheduling and inventory control systems to meet or exceed our goals and objectives
o Interact with Corporate Accounting, Purchasing, Health, Safety, and Environmental, and IT
o Other duties as assigned
Pre
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree, 5 or more years purchasing and managerial experience in a manufacturing
environment, technical knowledge of Supply Chain and Inventory Management. Experience
utilizing an MRP in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of purchasing, scheduling, and
inventory control. Demonstrated abilities in effective computer skills (such as Microsoft Office
products), oral and written communication as well as organizational and decision-making skills.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
