Summary
Responsible for defining the support model the Foundation services team. As the production support engineer this person will be focused on driving best practices.

Will be accountable for the intake and triage of tickets submitted to the foundation production support team. Must be able to perform ticket trend analysis, detect and create problem tickets, define and report on KPIs and document known error articles.
Must have a strong knowledge of the infrastructure and digital platforms. Candidate will be working directly with the foundation engineering teams on issue investigation and root cause analysis. Must be able to diagnose and present recommended fix to teams quickly and efficiently.
Ideal candidate will have strong communication skills (written and verbal). They must be able to clearly articulate issues, impact and requests for assistance.
As the team lead this person must be proactive in addressing critical risks and making suggestions for process improvements. They will be accountable for team performance with respect to SLA compliance and operational readiness.
Qualifications
Previous experience as team lead for production support / technical operations
Java/Java Script development experience of at least 2-3 years
Spring framework (theory or hands-on exp.)
JPA or any middleware
JBOSS servers
Apache web servers
REST services
Oracle/PL-SQL
Cache framework
JVM configurations (Including GC strategies)
Requires a Bachelors Degree and a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience.
