Quality Control Quality Assurance Field Supervisor


Responsible for managing the site quality assurance program and various field issues.

oManage AZCO's QA/QC program for a specific site.
oCommunicate with the customer's site QA/QC personnel and relate any specification or contract criteria to AZCO's site superintendent and project manager.
oResponsible for creating and maintaining AZCO weld maps and travelers.
oResponsible for ensuring required inspections are being completed in a timely manner.
oAssist in scheduling NDE, PWHT and AI visits.
oResponsible for ensuring all QA/QC records up to date for audit purposes.
oCreate turnover packages of required QA/QC documentation.
oCorrespond with the jurisdictional inspectors or Authorized Inspector when necessary.
oManage, direct, and assist inspection personnel, to ensure inspections are being completed in a timely manner.
oAssist the project coordinator in preparing turn-over packages for customer submittal.
oAbility to travel or relocate to undetermined sites for undetermined durations.
Technical Skills - Pursues training and development opportunities; strives to continuously build knowledge and skills; shares expertise and experience with others. Background and thorough working knowledge of various ASME and AWS codes and standards to include but not limited to:
ASME-Section1, Section2, Section8, Section9, B31.1, AWS-D1.1, and D1.6.
Background and working knowledge in various non-destructive testing methods and techniques to include:
Magnetic Particle Testing (MT), Dye Penetrant Testing (PT), Radiography (RT), Hardness testing, Positive Material Identification (PMI).
Successful candidates shall have a minimum 6 years of verifiable inspection experience as an AWS CWI/SCWI.
Successful candidates shall have a minimum 3 years of verifiable inspection supervision experience.
Current AWS SCWI or CWI certification required.
Previous or current MT and PT certifications desired, but not required.
Familiarity and understanding of RT, UT, PMI, pre/post weld heat treatment and hardness testing.
Successful candidates shall be able to pass a basic ASME general knowledge test.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
