Welding Technician
Our client, located in Seville, Ohio, has an immediate need to fill the position of Welding Technician.
Job Description
This Company provides manufacturing and engineering services to a wide variety of industries including automotive and construction. They are looking for a Welding Technician.
o Primary Function: Keep production lines running.
o Secondary Function: Perform duties of a production associate.
Production Support Focus
o Work with Engineering on new equipment and fixture builds.
o MIG welding and resistance welding support.
o Troubleshoot MIG welding and Resistance welding equipment and processes.
o Programming / Adjust Robotic Welding equipment as needed.
o Contact Lead Person or supervisor regarding any problems.
o Maintain clean area and help others maintain clean area.
o Maintain safe work area, wear proper personal protective equipment.
o Work with set-up personnel to reduce / lean up changeover times on welders.
o Follow and complete all required documentation & paperwork.
o Follow all applicable TS16949 processes.
o Generally, perform all other duties as required.
Set Up Support Focus
o Perform duties of Production Support focus.
o Perform tip changes.
o Control sensor key, assist production associates when sensor alarms.

o Experience setting up production fixtures to support the MIG line.
o Interested in 2nd Shift?
o Local or close enough for a short easy move.
