Senior Project Manager
Project managers develop creative strategies to achieve a common end goal while collaborating with smart and innovative colleagues. This is a front-facing Senior Project Manager role where you'll be able to form long-lasting relationships, and have the autonomy to make important decisions.
You'd be part of a diverse and dynamic team in a very collaborative work environment. The responsibilities would include managing multiple, concurrent, high profile and strategic clinical information technology implementations requiring innovative application solutions, considerable resources, complexity, and high levels of functional integration.
Desired Skills and
Experience:
Must have hands on project management experience 6-10 years.
Working with EPIC or SharePoint is a plus.
Bachelor's degree or/and certifications.
Experience managing and maintaining core relationships.
Experience with Vendor Implementation a plus.
Experience planning project scope.
Managing approving tracking project budget.
Responsibilities:
Act as direct and primary conduit to executive leadership for project status.
Coordinate all Information Services Department resources (people and technology).
Plan process to transition from project to operational status at projects end.
Ensure a smooth transition of new applications from project to operational status.
Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
Control project scope using project charter together with formal change control processes.
Planning, Design, Build/Develop, Test (integration, system, UAT), Train, Go live/Cutover.
Communicate schedule & assignment details to team and others as appropriate.
Monitor and verifies progress and updates plan activity details including % complete at least weekly.
Develop and communicate a visual timeline representing high level plan
Document and distributes meeting minutes
Development of meeting agendas
Establish Risk Log - typically only on large projects (for smaller projects the issue log can be used for both issues and risks)
Manage, Approve, track, and report on project budget.
