Repair Technician

We are looking for a technician with good natural overall mechanical and some electrical aptitude to make as well as repair things out of metal. While hydraulics is our primary expertise, we also have many other skills that are important to the success of this job. We need someone who is enthusiastic and genuinely interested in the company's growth and wants to be a part of it all. All that is required is that you bring basic mechanical skills, a solid work ethic, along with dedication to being part of a drug-free team environment.
Consider if you are qualified in these areas:
o Are you pretty good working with your hands, comfortable making things from scratch, thinking through how something can be made?
o Can you read and understand basic blue prints and layout a project
o Are you comfortable with basic electrical troubleshooting using a multi-meter?
o Precision assembly work of very tight tolerance parts including seals and o-rings
o Use of a tape measure, micrometer, calipers to measure parts for wear, go no-go gages, etc.
o Basic skills in math and fraction to decimal conversions
o Have an eager desire to learn and understand how things work and how they can fail and how to fix them.
o Very comfortable using basic hand tools (drills, taps/dies, grinders, saws, etc.)
We don't expect you to be an ASA certified repair technician, but need you to come in knowing the basics. We will train you what you need to know from there. If you need constant direction on the basics this will not be a job for you. We also need someone who is looking for long term employment and this would be a career move for you.
Critical Physical Traits - what we are looking for in the ideal candidate:
o Physically able to lift, push, pull, bend, and stand for long periods of time. (Lifting up to 75 pounds on occasion).
o Must be willing and able to work occasional over time to get parts out for our customers
o Must be able to pass a drug screening and have a clean background (no felonies).
o A driver license and reliable transportation.
o Able to travel to customer sites on occasion to help with field repair work.
Critical Technical Skills - Key abilities that we are looking in the ideal candidate:
o High School education min.
o Evidence that you have done mechanical repair work (cars, tractors, motorcycles, or home repair) AND you enjoy doing it. Good overall mechanical aptitude required.
o Actual experience in working with Hydraulics or Pneumatics AC/DC motors, or other specialty type of equipment, would be excellent.
o Basic computer skills
Compensation based on
Experience: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
These jobs are First Shift (8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.)
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
