QUALITY MANAGER


Quality Manager
This position provides a strategic leadership and is responsible for managing Quality Management System and delivering Key Value Drivers by executing the Manufacturing Quality Plan Tissue and Towel Product Stream
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Actively participate in Mill Safety initiatives.
Manage Quality Test lab. Lead and coach hourly direct reports (quality lab technicians).
Identify and understand customer requirements. Maintain good customer communication and relationships; strive to meet or exceed customer satisfaction expectations.
Work with Manufacturing, R&D and the corporate Quality teams to ensure that product specifications meet consumer/customer needs while being consistent with manufacturing capability.
Provide leadership and coaching to employees through a shared vision for the operation.
Lead trials related to quality improvement, new product commercialization, cost saving initiatives and reduction of variation in process and product quality.
Lead RCA (Root Cause Analysis) of customer complaints and manufacturing waste.
Develop knowledge systems and measurements that help the business make profitable decisions.
Conduct periodic audits to ensure that procedures are appropriately being followed.
The ideal candidate will possess the following: Strong computer skills with emphasis on Excel, Statistics and data analysis; Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis techniques (5 Why's, DMAIC, 8D); Proven Ability to challenge the status quo to facilitate improvement; Detail-oriented with excellent communication and investigative skills; Strategic and integrative thinking skills; Analytical problem solving skills - ability to troubleshoot; Hands on, self-motivated professional who can drive quality performance of our operations team; Demonstrated ability to achieve results through others.
Basic
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Higher in Engineering or technical fields
3 or more years of experience in a high speed manufacturing work environment.
Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including occasional weekend duty as necessary to manage facility performance.
Experience with quality and statistical tools such as Minitab , NWA , or similar software systems.
Must be available to travel up to 10% of the time.
Experience using Root Cause Analysis (RCA) techniques (5 Why's, DMAIC, 8D).


Preferred
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or higher specifically in Chemical, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
Experience as an engineer in process, quality or operations
Experience with Paper Tissue and Towel Manufacturing
Six-Sigma certification
Experience with Hazard Analysis & Critical Control Points (HACCP) or Product Stewardship ProgramsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
