Wetland/Stream Ecologist

CWA currently has an opening for a Stream Ecologist. The primary responsibilities of this position include stream assessment and design, permitting assistance, field studies, and environmental resource coordination with clients, and regulatory agencies. Responsibilities will include acting as Project Manager on small and medium scale environmental projects, and helping other key senior staff on large complex projects. Conducting field studies and documentation on wetland and stream delineations and assessments. Completing stream and wetland mitigation designs. Conducting field studies on plants, animals and other terrestrial and aquatic habitats. Mitigation and/or monitoring and permitting. GIS analysis and mapping. Preparing CE, EA, and EIS documents. Preparing environmental overview and planning reports and other duties as needed. The ideal candidate will be an expert in one or more of the following areas:
stream ecology; biology, NEPA regulatory, GIS or other, with leadership abilities. They will have a working knowledge of all applicable environmental regulations. They will also have a BS/MS in Environmental Science, Biology, or other related Natural Science and 5-10 years of experience in Stream Assessment and Design, Environmental Documentation, Environmental Resource Management or related fields. Certification as a Professional Wetland Scientist is preferred.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
