MANUFACTURING ENGINEER
The manufacturing engineer will work closely with operations, reliability and maintenance teams to improve reliability and operating efficiency. This role will report to the Area Leader.
Responsibilities:
Environmental, Health and Safety, and compliance excellence. Drive the organization toward excellence by identifying and resolving critical and high frequency risks.
Improve Reliability. Maximize asset availability through execution and adjustment of asset strategies and the identification and resolution of high impact issues. Understanding and using the following tools: Failure Mode and Effects Analysis, Root Cause Failure Analysis, Precision Maintenance, and Mechanical Integrity.
Lead Daily Operation. Maximize overall operating efficiency of the paper machine. Develop operating targets and equipment setup procedures. Assist operators with troubleshooting and review root cause. Ensure assets meet safety, quality, productivity, and cost expectations. Interact with other areas such as maintenance and quality to ensure efficient operation. Participate in and contribute to the performance of the associated product system.
Improve longer term asset performance. Understand the business, mill, and department visions and identify area needs to meet those objectives. Prioritize opportunities and develop a plan to create capability including potential capital and non-capital opportunities. Lead or participate in capital project scope development, engineering, execution, and startup. Manage trials including product development, clothing, chemicals, process changes, etc Encourage operator involvement.
Learn, apply, and teach the theory of operation (the science of what we do). Develop technical capability of others by ensuring skill building materials are correct and transferring process and equipment knowledge via daily interaction and formal skill building.
Basic
Qualifications:
o Engineering degree
o 3 years paper operations experience
o Computer skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite, and ability to quickly learn reliability and maintenance software such as Meridium and Passport
o Demonstrated ability to lead , coach, and transfer knowledge to get results
o Good listener and communicator at all levels
Preferred
Qualifications:
o Mechanical, Chemical, or Paper Science Engineering degree
o 5 years tissue machine operations experience
o Demonstrated ability to diagnose gaps in people, processes, equipment and collaborate with resources from multiple disciplinesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
