ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, FINANCIAL ANALYSIS

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
This position will play a key role in the development and execution of the EMAC Regional strategy, by providing financial analysis and decision support for product sourcing strategies, business development activities, long term financial planning, budgeting and alliance support.
The candidate will be required to manage financial deliverables within a complex global organization.
The candidate must have proven ability to facilitate management dialogue and decision making through fact based analysis, evaluation of alternatives, and highlighting the optimal value options.
Fluency in financial modeling, discounted cash flow and ROI analytical techniques iskey.
MAJOR AREAS OF
Responsibilities:
o Act as a business partner who adds value by understanding the needs of the business and proactively identifying opportunities that drive financial results o Build breakthrough business analytical financial models for evaluating business opportunities and resource allocation.
NPV and ROI analysis o Be an internal consultant to business partners by providing sound financial guidance and advising management of relevant risks or potential opportunities o Support Market specific and Intercontinental executive leadership with meaningful and actionable insights and analysis around life cycle flexing , both at the brand and total portfolio level o Lead financial support for a portfolio of pipeline and inline products, responsible for execution of key financial planning processes and supporting pre-launch activities and operational decision making o Ability to influence others o Ability to develop strong working relationships withinternal finance and commercial partners.
Fluency in financial modeling, discounted cash flow techniques and ROI analysis a prerequisite o Support BMS's Long Term Financial Plan and Budget processes by providing timely and accurate information o Drive continuous process improvements by identifying and simplifying processes within finance o Actively influence the identification of continuous expense improvement in 2014 and 2015 o Prepare presentations for senior management review o Manage special projects, ad-hoc analysis to ensure highly effective outcomes Qualifications o Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting; MBA preferredo Business development experience o 8
years of experience in accounting or finance positions with proven upward progression o Strong analytical, quantitative, financial modeling and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload oAbility to deal with complexity and uncertainty while driving teams towards actionable decisions o Strong business partnering skills.
Ability to build relationships and proven ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
