Large regional distributor of CNC machine tools is seeking a Field Service Engineer for regional service and maintenance of CNC machines and similar equipment.
Background in electrical engineering plus; must have experience in reading schematics, troubleshooting and repairing automated machine tools including CNC boring mills, grinders, lathes or similar. Proficiency in mechanical repairs and component replacement for parts including servos, spindles, bearings and other similar parts.
Shall travel within region to service automated CNC machine tools for a variety of clients. Install, set up, and troubleshoot new equipment and replace parts as needed. Assist customer with operation of CNC machines and advise on best courses of action for the customer. Perform preventative maintenance on automated CNC machines and similar equipment.
Enjoy local travel as you perform critical maintenance on cutting edge technology and high precision machines. Starting salary up to $80,000 with potential for bonus and overtime.
